FRIDAY AT TOGETHER AGAIN FESTIVAL IN CHESHIRE

I am excited to announce that I will be heading to Cardiff on Tuesday October 6th for a full band headline show at The Canopi presented by Triliwm Promotions.

This is my only confirmed date in Wales and my only confirmed show with a full band this year.

I was born and raised in Cardiff so I’m excited to return to play my music. So if you’re around or know someone that would dig the full band and my music, come along or send them to The Canopi on October 6th. Gonna be a good’ne!

JACKSON’S OPEN MIC NIGHT TONIGHT FROM 7PM! (WEDNESDAY 17TH JUNE)

“ FLAT TYRE” CDs ARE COMING…

My second album “Flat Tyre” turned a year old in April! Physical copies of this album will be available soon on BandCamp.

This will be a limited run, only 100 copies will be available. They will be numbered and signed.

The sale of these CDs will help towards travelling and gigging costs in 2026. I have some dates around the UK this year… more on that soon.

I’m also arranging and recorded demos/guide tracks for a new album. I’m hoping to get the ball rolling on that this year.

Anyway… Thank you all for your continued support, keep your eyes peeled for the “Flat Tyre” CDs coming soon…

Some Updates…

Been out and about playing around sunny Cornwall this past week…

A set at Jamaica Inn followed by an outdoor open mic there… special night! Met a mother and son from Tasmania, I could have sat and spoken to them all night.

Lovely mix of musicians and music

The Weather has been so good that I’ve been down the beach with my family and bumming around the county with them. Wouldn’t want to be doing anything else over the half term.

I have been writing lots too. I’m hoping to record some music to release soon. We’ll see.

I hope you’re all well, wherever you are.

TONIGHT (MONDAY MAY 25TH)

What an amazing weekend at Chiseldon Hotel for the Country Guitar Retreat. It was an absolute joy and honour to spend time with everyone, meeting new people and made a load of new friends all through music and guitars! A beautiful setting and hotel, the warmest welcome and hospitality. The food, the rooms, the shower! We were all very well looked after the whole time.

If you have ever thought about going on a guitar retreat… do it! Check out https://guitar-retreats.co.uk and see what’s coming up! You won’t regret it..

Huge thank you to Stuart and all of the pickers for having me. I’m extremely grateful.

(Oh… And so many lush guitars!)

TUESDAY MAY 5th

I have no public gigs this week but some news to share that I’ll be heading to Wiltshire with https://guitar-retreats.co.uk for a Country Guitar Retreat! A whole weekend of playing country guitar with country guitar enthusiasts!

Oh and another update… the beard is gone! Over the bank holiday weekend I had a solo gig, a duo gig playing Soul Music with my partner at Anchor Barrow Campsite. On Saturday I performed a set of country classics with my band “Second Hand Country Band” at 12:30. At 3:45 I played in a Kings Of Leon Tribute band so I trimmed the beard down.

The following day I was performing as Phil in a Phil Collins Tribute band! Something I’ve never done before and I have never gigged without a guitar around my neck. I was so scared but thoroughly enjoyed it! Anyway.. that’s how the beard met its fate.

Cheers Everyone!
